Prepare and sanitize

Begin with thoroughly cleansed, dry skin - free of makeup, oils, or residue - to ensure safe and effective treatment

Choose the right electrode

Select from one of the included electrodes:

Large mushroom - great for general facial use and anti-aging benefits
Small mushroom - ideal for targeting acne-prone or oily skin
Indirect massage electrode - useful for toning and stimulating via client-handheld technique

Apply conductive medium

Apply a thin layer of conductive gel or serum to the treatment area. This aids glide, optimizes current distribution, and enhances comfort

Start low and go slow

Insert the chosen electrode into the wand.

Power on the machine, beginning at the lowest intensity.

Gradually increase the setting until a gentle, comfortable tingle is felt

Select your technique

Direct method: Gently glide the mushroom electrode in circular motions, maintaining movement to avoid overstimulation, or hover briefly (3-5 seconds) over blemishes to target acne-causing bacteria

Indirect method: Have the client hold the electrode, then massage the area—such as the face or neck—using the wand from a distance, to boost circulation and tone

Watch your timing

Aim for 5-10 minutes per session, depending on the treatment area and skin sensitivity

Aftercare application

Post-treatment, apply a calming moisturizer or hydrating serum. The increased circulation enhances absorption, making this an ideal time for nourishing skincare application

Practice hygiene and safety

Clean electrodes thoroughly after each use using disinfectant or alcohol.

Avoid alcohol-based products before treatment - they may ignite due to sparking risk

Important contraindications: Do not use the machine on clients who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, are epileptic, or have metal implants in the treatment area. Also avoid broken, inflamed skin or areas with active cold sores
