What is soft wax?

How to use soft wax?
First prepare the skin using a pre wax cleanser, oil, and/or powder. Melt the wax to a honey like consistency, test a small patch on your wrist before the client. Apply the wax using an applicator in the direction of hair growth, spread thin. Press a waxing strip onto the waxed area, smoothing it down in the same direction as hair growth. Hold the skin taut, then quickly pull the strip back in the opposite direction of hair growth, keeping it close to the skin. Avoid pulling up and keep the skin anchored so it doesn’t pull up with the hair and strip. Afterwards, apply a post wax lotion to calm the skin and reduce any irritation.
What is the difference between hard wax and soft wax?
Soft wax is applied warm and removed using a woven or non-woven strip, which is pressed onto the wax and quickly pulled off. Soft wax adheres to both the hair and skin, making it more effective for larger areas like legs, arms, and back waxing. It provides a quicker process but can also lead to more skin irritation.
